is there a way to check who is connected to your PC? Like if u have drives shared out,

i think in windows 95 there was something called netwatch.exe, I am now using XP and can not find it.

I believe in the computer management console there's a section devoted to shares. If I remember correctly (I'm not in Windows right now) in that area of the utility you can see who is connected & to what.

you should be able to just go into my computer -> My Network Places and looked at your local network to see what is shared

That is not what he asked. Who wants to know who is connected to his own PC. I have checked & indeed there is such an area in the computer management console (Shared Folders -> Sessions).
