issues when emailing images

i have a laptop and whenever i email for example 2 images, the recipient gets to different images, not the ones i selected to send. any idea on what this problem could be?

for example if i send image01 & image02 then receive like image40 & image41

depends on your email reader. Are you using an email client on your system
or a webbase email, eg yahoo or gmail?

ususally you can drag-n-drop files for attachment, but sometimes you have to
browse to the file location and 'upload' it -- be sure you have an image file
like xxx.gif yyy.jpg zzz.bmp or 123.png

You are not being quite clear - is it the names that are different, or the whole image?

Oh ! that IS strange. Better do as thorough a virus check as you can. Please use this site major articles for guidance. Better warn your recipients they may have been posted a virus too !!
