Keyboard problem - help needed

Hi,

I recently had a registry problem, and ended up having to reinistall the OS. To complicate matters, it used to be XP, but is now XP Professional (SP1).

Anyway, since I installed the OS, the keyboard mapping is a bit funny in that certain keys don't work correctly - eg @ comes out as ", and the other way round.

I downloaded and installed the keyboard driver from www.hp.com, but it didn't make any difference.

Any ideas?

In the Control Panel choose Regional and Language Options. Then go to the Languages tab and click on the Details button. In there make sure it is set to English US, if that is set properly then click on Add in the box below, in there you can choose the Keyboard Layout.
