I have got an E-System 3083 laptop with 512Mb RAM and it refuses to POST. I can switch it on but the laptop won't POST i have tried with and without the stick of memory in and it does the same either way.
The DVD and HDD does their usual sounds but the screen doesn't switch on either. I have striped the laptop down to just the motherboard and memory without any change.
Please can someone confirm my thoughts of it being a faulty memory module.
