Lenovo has today announced a full refresh of their Yoga line-up, including a brand new flagship laptop known as the Yoga 3 Pro, and several Yoga Tablets running both Windows and Android.

Like its predecessor, the Yoga 3 Pro comes with a flexible hinge (hence the name) that can rotate a full 180 degrees, allowing the laptop to also function as a tablet. This hinge has been improved on the Yoga 3 Pro - it now looks like a watch band with multiple pivot points - allowing the notebook to be 17% thinner (12.8mm) and 14% lighter (1.19kg).

The Yoga 3 Pro features a 13.3-inch 3200 x 1800 display, and Intel Core M-70 dual-core CPU, up to 8 GB of RAM, up to 512 GB of SSD-based storage, and connectivity including Wi-Fi 802.11ac. Lenovo has also improved the speakers on their Yoga flagship, packing in JBL drivers, and the company claims that with Core M inside it should last up to nine hours.

Moving on to the tablets, and Lenovo has announced four new ones for their Yoga Tablet 2 line. The Tablet 2 is available as an 8- or 10-inch model, and packs either Android 4.4 or Windows 8.1 depending on what you desire. These tablets also come with a barrel hinge, which allows you to position a stand for optimal viewing, or even hang it on a wall thanks to a slot in the stand.

All of Lenovo's Yoga Tablet 2s are powered by a quad-core Intel Atom Z3745 CPU and 2 GB of RAM, and all come with 1920 x 1200 IPS displays. Depending on the model you'll get either 16 or 32 GB of internal storage, and up to 18 hours of battery life.

The final tablet in Lenovo's new range is the Yoga Tablet 2 Pro, which is an Android-only tablet that comes with a 13.3" 2560 x 1440 IPS display, and the same Intel Atom Z3745 CPU as for the non-Pro tablets. The standout feature on this model, however, is the micro-projector Lenovo has integrated into the barrel hinge, allowing you to easily share content with your friends, provided you have a blank wall nearby.

If you're after one of these new Yoga products, you shouldn't have to wait too long. The Yoga 3 Pro will start shipping in late October and will start at $1,349. The 8- and 10-inch Android tablets are available now for $249 and $299 respectively, while the Windows tablets are more expensive: $299 for the 8-inch (coming late October) and $399 for the 10-inch and its bundled keyboard (coming November).

The Yoga Tablet 2 Pro with its unique projector will set you back $499 when it goes on sale at the end of the month.

The Yoga is definitely improving a ton with each refresh. MY only issue though is the battery life. When they get it to more than 10 hours, I will be interested.
