Logitech launches a new line of gaming products designed with inclusivity in mind

No kidding, don't you find this a bit odd? First, what makes you think there aren't plenty of men out there that might want a pink keyboard? And white? Why don't men like white keyboards again? I, personally, wouldn't choose either of those colors but that's more about showing dirt, not that I don't like the colors. I have tons of pink shirts, so...

And what about non-binary people? What color do they get?
IDK, I think there some blue or violets, that's what the woke folks (nyt and salon) said about the Marvel Loki TV show released last year during the alphabet people month.

The whole backlash against "woke" or "snowflakes" is that people get "triggered" over things some may see as trivial. Do you not see the irony of getting triggered over a pink keyboard while complaining about a company being "woke".

You are probably the sort of people that complain about companies making gluten free food. A company don't need to make only products that cater to your taste.
Sir, this is the comments section. It is the land of trolls and a warzone, where pointless arguments live.
Also, to defeat your example, many products are called gluten-free when they were inherently gluten-free. That's like describing something as Vegan Carrots or Vegan Broccoli.

I think it's less about the keyboard and more about the messaging. Yes, this is not something to get "triggered" over. It's not going to change anyone's life.

But, I do see irony in a product line that claims inclusivity being designed, for women and by women. I own a lot of Logitech products and will continue to buy them, but I do find the messaging humorous.

I know those companies that do pink phones , or extra large buttons for disabled really trigger me too .
They should do what we really want - done in our sports teams colours or our favourite game .
It's simple really. Just in the NFL (US) there are 32 teams. That's just football (not that soccer crap). So, just in Pro football, you'd need models to pander to 32 different fanatic's passions.

But there are only 5 or 6 genders, (excluding Billy porter) and that makes it mush easier to humor the fringe elements

And besides, you already have black, (with flashing lights), to lure the more macho females..

I like how people are like, "it's not the product, it's the messaging."

You know, messaging. Which is what companies do in order to effectively sell products. The way they message effectively is determined by the era. Since we are smack dab in the middle of a false dichotomy of binary thinking companies are generally choosing the side that is forward-thinking rather than regressive, even if occasionally the forward-thinking can be absurdly or ridiculously expressed. That is to say we are clumsily moving forward with or without you amoebas. Whether Logitech is pandering is irrelevant. They're trying to make money. Of course they're pandering.

No one sat down with this idea and had the number crunchers come out and say, "this will lose us money," and then fight so hard to lose money. They've already done the math and decided this projects to be profitable. Which is the only thing it's about.

And stop saying woke you *****s. You latch upon to some buzzword and destroy the meaning of it and it just becomes a word that means "thing I do not like." Logitech is not being woke. Woke has no meaning anymore. It's just an ad hominem. Just let it go.
