Make a 1" tweet to play fetch with blind dog

I have a 1 year old puppy and she just went blind, I know this is a stereo site but I'm just trying to help out my dog cause she loves playing fetch. My idea is to put a 1 inch tweet inside a ball with a small battery power source so she can hear the ball. My theory is that if i can make the tweet make a constant buzzing/humming sound sound she can find it. So if u have any ideas how to make the tweet do that please let me know. Thanx
