MCI error in PowerPoint

Help! I'm using a purchased PowerPoint presentation that includes MP3 files. They won't play on my Dell Latitude laptop, but will play on other computers. My Dell is using XP Pro and if fully updated. I'm also using Microsoft Office 07 (fully updated). I've updated my Adobe Flash player (yesterday). When I click on the audio link I get an MCI error. It says "The specified file cannot be played on the specified MCI device. The file may be corrupt, not in the correct format, or no fil."

I discovered the answer (with some help). Windows Media Player MUST be set as the default player for MP3s. (I had iTunes set for that.) PowerPoint in Office 07 does NOT work with iTunes in an XP environment.

As i thought when i first read the post :p

Although, im not surprised they only accept WMP to play the MP3's and not a 3rd party program.
