Memory Clockspeed on Dell E1705

I bought my Inspiron E1705 with 1 Gig of dual channel 533mhz mem. Realizing this was a mistake i did my homework and found a good set of dual channel 2 gig 667 mhz. Memory works fine, I'm getting a lot more performance in Vista, however, the clockspeed is only recognizing 533mhz. I know it's a knitpicky thing, but I did PAY for the faster ram. All the tech specs I've found tell me this machine will take 667, but I can't find an option anywhere, nor is it automatically detecting it. Any help would be appreciated.

I looked uo your Dell model. It uses 533mhz ram memory. That is why your 667mhz is clocking down to the 533mhz config,

Huh, I was misinformed, that NEVER happens. lol. Thanks for the quick reply. I'll just be glad the mem works at all then, it being a Dell and all.
