I just upgraded my memory from 768mb to 2048mb and my computer performance seems to be worse than it was. Any advice?

Memory upgrade problem.

Instal AIDA32 [free]
And check if your motherboard is able to handle pc3200
Perhaps your bus is not fast enough for these dimms
Try if it improoves when you only have one 1024 inside
Put them side by side
Dont leave an empty place between them or
Start from the other side of your mobo
And put the dimms there
Example
You have your first dimm in the left sloth
Second at the following sloth
And the 3th-4th empty
NOW
Put the first dimm at sloth 4 and the second at 3
Remove your old memory stick if you have all 3 inside
