Microsoft and AMD are bringing FidelityFX Super Resolution to Xbox Series X and Series S

DLSS has been in a very large percentage of the games I've played in the last 2 years.
Per Wikipedia:

DLSS 1.0 was released on 2019 and one game supported it on 2019, Control.

Since that version was garbage, I would say its irrelevant.

2.0 came out in 2019 but it was also bad, so nvidia re-released as 2.0 (how original) in 2020 and thats the one that the drones are so enamored with.

Anyways, here are some links for that show a really long list of games (not)

I knew this was more marketing than reality but damn, this is over hyped.

Pray, pray really hard that nvidia is never allowed to buy ARM.

ARM has a revenue of a couple of us$ billions a year. Nvidia wants to pay 40 for them.

As an investment that makes no sense, since the ROI is simply too long.

They can already license the ARM tech in any way they want and it would be a lot less than 40 B.

The only reason left is that they found a nasty loophole in arm current contracts and will really screw the whole industry.

I know that people these days have a weird thing that they must blindly worship corporations and turn a blind eye to the many anti-consumer actions made by that company.

Nvidia is the absolute worse, but hey, they have RT and DLSS, so they are gods or something.

Currently this is hinging on Chinese regulators so let's hope they do the right thing and block Nvidia's purchase of ARM.

It's clear to see that you have no idea what you are talking about. The reason Nvidia are interested in purchasing ARM is because ARM is the future of computing, not because of some "loophole". If Nvidia were to buy ARM, you would see that technology advance quicker than it ever has.

Former Silicon Graphics employees formed ArtX and they made the GameCube Graphics chip but they were bought by ATi before the console shipped and their technology was used to develop the Radeon 9700 pro and 9800 pro. Then AMD bought ATi
So... no FSR?

I wont get on the rest of your comment because clearly you dont know nvidia.

That said, please enlighten me as to one time when Nvidia created something that helped the whole industry, instead of themselves.

Remember that this needs to be coded into the game by the developers, so unless the developer is updating older titles I don't see this happening.
They are still releasing titles for XBox One (same as PS4) as both have a pretty large user base.

Companies offering titles with a large online user base such as e.g. Fortnite may also be motivated to include this in an update.
