Microsoft Hotfix

i dont know if im in the right place or not to post this but i was wondering how can i download and get back all the missing hotfixes that i deleted by accident? also do hotfixes have anything to do with my cd/dvd burners not working?

I don`t know if the missing hotfixes are the cause of your cd/dvd problems.

You could try a system restore to a point before you deleted the hotfixes.

If that doesn`t work. Just run windows updates again, and the missing hotfixes should get replaced.

its too late for me to do the system restore and i tried the windows update and im still not sure if it worked because i have this program called Hfnetchk which is a hotfix reporter and when i run it, it still gives me about 18 hotfixes which it says are missing...do u know what to do?

I wouldn`t worry too much about it.

If you`ve got the latest Windows updates, some of the latest updates supercede the earlier hotfixes.
