Microsoft Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close.

Hi,

My OS is windows 2000 SP4, I had set my homepage as google.com for my IE. it was working fine.. but from the last 4 days while i am opening an IE , error message is coming and closing the IE (send report) . but if I change the homepage to use blank there is no problem as such. I can continue surfing the internet!.. but the only thing is I cant set a homepage!... I am using Microsoft AntySpyware also, if any one has a solution pls help me!

i'd make use of avg free edition (free.grisoft.com) and ad-aware se personal, for starters. usually those two will flag whatever's on your computer that shouldn't be. reply how the scans went, especially the avg scan.

i reccomend mozilla firefox instead of ie as a default browser. it's freely available for download and has some features you're bound to like.
