Monitor for my Dell XPS 15 9570

Hi, I hope everything is well. I want to purchase the Samsung C34h890 monitor which has a USB-C port, my question is if having my laptop (Dell XPS 15 9570) with a Thunderbolt port, it could be connected directly to the monitor with the USB-C cable that comes included when buying the monitor? And then everything would work correctly.

In theory, yes it should all work fine, unless Dell have done something funny with their Thunderbolt output.
