Hey folks, first time posting and hopeing you can help me out. Also if I posted in the wrong forum please let me know.
My girlfriend just bought a used CRT monitor from where she works and I want to use it in a dual display setup for my PC.
Unfortunately I have a intergrated graphics card on my motherboard (Asus P5GD1-VM) with a DB15(female) and an DB9(male) slots.
The new monitor has a DB15(male) connection coming from the back, which is the same as my older monitor.
I went out and bought a DB9 female to female connector hoping this would do what I needed, which it hasn't. heh
Does anyone know where I would be able to get a DB15(female) to DB9(female) connector, or a way of modifiying the monitor cable so it fits into a DB9 connection.?
Thanks!
