More Americans now support banning phones all day at school, not just in class

Vehicular homicide and arson and knives and the like are readily available options in most developed countries. And yet in almost all such countries, violence is not even in the top 3 causes of death in the 1-18 year old demographic.

The sole exception is the USA, where firearms are the leading cause of death among that age group.

The vast majority of shootings happen in red states like Texas and Florida, and the per capita shooting statistics also peak overwhelmingly in red states. The perpetrators are 90% male. Why aren't we dealing with our Southern male problem?
What about black and white. Who shoots more people. I never saw any statistics on such. I have witnessed a 3 year old black male become collateral damage in a crack related drive by a black male and I have also seen a white 8 year old boy gunned down by a white male, not to mention being killed by drag racing and dui's as well. What is it about children anyway. The original premise of this article was the banning of cell phones in public schools, so once again off the subject. Do ya'll suppose cell phones are the cause of childrens death's by whatever method anyone can use or wherever they decide to do it?

Another top ten entry in the pantheon of dumb. 'Lets not ban guns because more people die in schools from bombs and knives'. Can we all just stand back and admire that statement for the multiple levels of dumb it contains. Truly a master of the craft at work.
You are right that guns might need to be controlled for the reasons you said. However, you have controls on bomb makers that are enforced when they are caught for sure. But, sadly, it is always after the fact that someone has already been killed (the story of the human race). Murders nor bomb makers for some reason never consider legality when the do the dirty deed. Remember JFK, RFK, MLK, et. al.. About the only way that I could see you could possibly pragmaticallty control guns is to stop selling them or making them in the first place. But that will never happen and will not take into account the ones that are alrready out there. This is once again off of the original subject of cell phone usage in public schools BTW. And anyway, according to the latest news capsule that just left my tv, we are maybe about to enter WWIII according to the president himself.
