Mouse moves upwards

lo all, i recently purchased a razer copperhead and when i am on counter-strike, if i slowly move the mouse side to side it will keep going upwards :s It doesnt seem to be doing it in any other programs/windows but im not completely sure. I have no idea how to fix this so please help if you can. Thank you

Did you try changing your mouse pad? I've seen this problem with my optical mouse before. It will just start moving slowly in random directions. It all has to do with the sensor receiving the signals, and it thinks it is moving.
