Mouse not working

today i was on my comp and the mouse ive been using for like a year just stopped worked. i unplugged it and plugged it back into the usb port and it work again , then 5 minets later it stops working again , and sais that its an unknow device , ive tried plugging it into all the diffrent usb ports , reinstalling it and it still does the same thing.

1.Go into the device Manager and uninstall the USB controllers,then restart the computer.

AND, OR

2.Try a different mouse.

ops nvm , theres 5 of them should i uninstall all?

Yes.

Windows will reinstall them when you restart.More HERE if you need it.
