Ok, here's the deal, whenever I play an MP3 file on ANY player, my system wants to lock-up completely until the song is done. It's odd, and my comp had 1 gig of RAM, and NOTHING else is running. It's brand new, and not connected to the internet when I try this. I am not thinking its a hardware problem, and I am jsut unsure of what to do. Any help would be GREATly appreciated. Thank you!

Definitely shouldn't be happening with that system. Have you checked for new Drivers for any hardware on the system yet? Windowsupdate ought to find some if you're wanting to do a quick check. Can't imagine it's a software issue, but yeah, just to be safe, update any drivers & media related updates.

I updated everything and STILL it does it. The computer runs beautifully when I'm doing ANYthing but playing MP3s. Unfortunately, I like to play MP3s while I'm browsing the internet and stuff, but it's hard when the system locks up whenever a program plays an MP3.
