MP4 file - genuine or not

I have received a MP4 file, the file should be 1 minute long but it's only 50 sec long. How can I found out if this MP4 file has been modified/cut from the original file?

Hi, thanks for the link! I can see the creation date/time and the modification etc. but those fields be changed without a trace. Is there an application which I can use to see if my file has been cut/cropped from its origina?

The difference of Create vs Modified IS your trace. Not where or by whom, but WHEN.
