My USb flash drive with mp3 player is not working

Please hep me.......

My Mp3 player with usb flash drive is not working after doing the firmware updates.

When I plugged it to my windows Xp system it is not recognizing it.

Even it is not playing any songs.

Anybody please help me to handle this problem.

windows xp recognizes new devices very easily if nothing is changed in xp configuration may be in the bios,etc...so u can try checking with the flash drive with other systems or with the vendor....

Problem still exist

I haven't changed any configurations in Windows XP.

I even checked my usb drive on Fedora Core 4 system.

Still it is not responding.

Even the indicator is not blinking on the device.

does it work on a diferent computer? did the upgrade complete sucsessfully?
if so, unplug all your usb devices, remove them all from the device manager, restart, let them reinstall, and plug them back in.
