Need admin rights to delete something

  1. someone to tell me how to get the admin. rights, so i can delete some files Windows has created over years on a D: drive. I am trying to save space.

    Turning off User Account Control might do the trick.
    Using a third party File Manager could also do the trick.

    Please note: I am operating under both conditions and never have issues with admin rights.

    For Windows 7 - Control Panel >> System and Security >> Action Center >> Change User Account Control settings
    If you prefer it, turn User Account Control back on once you have finished managing your files.

    OK u need to understand I have I have no training on computers at all, I have learned all I know self taught. If u could could go through step by step I would Appreciate it, I know how to get in the Control Panel, but System and Security>> Action Center>>Change User Account Control settings, are need to be explained to me.

    Those are the steps
    Start at Control Panel and look for the next page
