NEED help getting ram for dell labtop. ddr, thats all i know so far.

Hi, my mom has a dell laptop(model number: PPP01L) and its very slow, it has 256mb ram. i was hoping to upgrade it to upgrade it to 1gb, but i dont know much about ram, especially with laptops. if you need more info on the computer ill gladly give you it. thanks -Nick
