Need help with my burner - not sure what is happening...

I have a LITE-ON DVDRW SH-16A7S burner. The burner will read and burn anything cd related but nothing dvd. Anytime I put in a dvd or try to burn something on a dvd-rw the burner cannot even see the dvd.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

the laser has gone, from what i know (its a bit not a lot) the combo drives have 2 lasers in them, the dvd one has failed, seen a few posts on here before about this.

Its a bin job for it.
