Netflix no longer lets you cast content from your phone

If you are over at your friend's place and you have netflix and they don't, you could (previous to this change) watch nexflix there without giving up your phone or your friend paying for netflix. That is the lost revenue they want.

Ahh. If either this and/or the "we have a generation who doesn't know how to set up the tv app" part is true I think Netflix is being very short-sighted. Cutting off just the non-paying host/friend would be one thing. But also cutting off the paying subscriber in the places they spend their time is quite another. The subscriber is not going to stop visiting their friends. But they may decide their subscription isn't doing much for them.
