So... my card is dead:(
I have to find a new one of course
this is my dead card :
96986729tl6.gif

It had horrible 3dmark06 score like 6k only..

I'm thinking of ATi because I never used ATi yet,
and this is my first comp built not like just bought from Dell or HP.
Before deciding if I'll stick with ATi or Nvidia I'll use one of each..
So anyways

I want many suggestions of ATi cards that are bit better than this,
as I am looking forward to Diablo3 whenever it'll come out :)
Hope to use the same VGA til then ....
I was thinking of 3850 or 4670 series....
I can't afford something too expensive maybe around $200 CDN
(I live in Canada)
If you can please include a link!

What resolution do you game at? If it's anything upto 1440x900, consider the 9800GT as a better option. The HD 4850 is really designed for resolutions of upto 1680x1050.

(the above assumes you will be playing with all the image quality options except AA maxed out)

1680*1050 is current setting
for my monitor n stuff but i can lower a bit
if its cheaper

MSI : http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127394
Sapphire : http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102803&Tpk=sapphire 4830

and my other hardwares are
Conroe E6750 @ 3.2ghz
Samgsung 6400(800mhz) 1gb x 2 RAMs
Asus P5K board

No...not the 3870, or anything from the HD 3000 lineup for your situation, the 4830 is a good card and incredibly cheep for the performance.

I've never owned anything MSI, but i can tell you that Sapphire makes good cards for cheap. i just had a 3870 for about half a year that never gave me problems (even bought it open box) and i'm about to buy another Sapphire... plus i've heard good reports from reviews. Yet i've heard a little good news about MSI to. So yeah go with the cheapest, my little contribution accomplished nothing but thought i'd just add to the desicion because i'm in the same situation right now.
