Ok, I bought a new motherboard, ASUS Socket AM2 M2A-VM, and the sound card isintegrated, but I only get sound from the left ear. I tried different headphones and speakers and they all got sound on the left side only.
I checked the sound options and everything seems good. I even ran a sound test and sound only got out of the left side...
Any idea what could be the problem and how to fix it ?

are you using the front panel audio output of your tower?
if so,try to check your wirings/pin connectors from your
front audio module going to your motherboard.

It's plugged it in from the back... If you have any more ideas, I would be appreciated it. Thanks.

What sound card are you using? And if you're using surround sound, make sure the wires from the speakers go to the right plugs....example: Front-Left, or Back-Right, or Fron-Center, etc.

I've downloaded and installed the latest drivers for the MB... I'll uninstall the drivers, and I'll let you know... Thanks.

This may sound stupid, but new audio devices may take a little more force to insert the audio plug all of the way in. If it is already all of the way in, then it may be broken on the inside of the female audio jack.

If it's a new board, replace it under warranty.
