What I want to know is if I can get a card that will run EQ2 with the computer I have now. I do not need anything fancy just enough to run the darn game. Thank you in advance.

It would be wise for you to investigate the Dell site (use your build code from them) and investigate up date cards for your machine .Dell uses proprietary Bios ,etc.and you would not want to deal with an untested Card. Also go to the Dell user forum someone in there will have experience with this issue.
Also if you have any extended warranty left, you should contact Dell directly and inform them of your hardware change.

I do not play EQ2 , but the spec that Dell gave you covers a wide range of cards .So if you have a price point in mind let us know .You should get the best bang for the buck.
You should also check the Web site for the game.It has been my experience that all major game companies either list recommended Vid cards, or issues with certain cards, or their forums have usable commentary from individuals experiences.
P.S. Welcome to Techspot!

They reccomend Nvidia Cards. If I were going to get say a GForce4 TI would that do? I do not need the greatest graphics in the world I just want to play also budget as cheap as possible. I can not see myself spending more than $100 or else I just can not afford it.

If you have such a budget go for a plain 6800 card (MSI comes to mind). If you can't the nVidia 5900XT could cover your needs but there isn't much price difference between that one & the 6800 but the visual & performance difference is quite big. If you can't reach those budgets, look for a 4200 & if you can't find that, a 5700.
