No access to 'All Programs' on XP Home

Hi,

When I go into 'Start' and click on 'All Programs' on XP Home nothing is happening. You can click it as much as you like and nothing happens. It was fine the other day so I'm assuming it's happened in the last couple of days.

I've run the Microsoft Anti-spayware program, Ad-aware and Spybot. I've run a full scan with Panda antivirus, but still have the problem.

I can still run any program I need to by doing a search for it and running it from there but it's a bit of a pain doing it that way.

Everything appears to be working normally apart from this. Anybody got an idea how I get 'All Programs' to work again?

try a system restore. if you dont know how, go to start menu, click run, type in restore , hit enter, double click on "rstrui.exe" restore your comp to a date when the list worked. hope it helps
