Now did that subject line catch your attention? Looks like Brian Burke, of nVidia is posting over at nVNews, asking for help from the community, about the shiverinig, quivering lines that some people are supposed to be having problems with. It seems to be happening in vVidia as well as ATi cards. I'm lucky I haven't experienced this problem. At any rate, if he finds the cause of the problem, I'm SURE he's going to share it with ATi. HeHe. I didn't read the whole thread, just the headlines here. Here's a quote from it.
First of all, let me just say this - I'm really shocked! About 10 minutes ago I was just browsing through nVnews.net forums when I noticed a post by....wait for it...NVIDIA PR representative!!! It was Brian Burke posting asking for help from community to help the community. Read More for details. This is an extract from the post: "We have become aware that both NVIDIA and competitor’s cards are experiencing similar problems that are described as “flickering”, “rolling lines” or “quivering” in different forum posts." This is happening on both Radeon 9xxx and Geforce FX 5xxx cards but only some users are experiencing it. If you have no idea what this is all about, and you own Radeon 9xxx card or FX 5xxx card - that's good news for you! You are one of the many lucky ones.
