Odd source problem

Heres my specs:

Amd 3000+
Nvidia 6600 gt
1 gb ram
120 gb hd
asus k8s-mx mobo
400 watt atx psu

ok when i play source my fps is between 85 and 120 and my ping is 40-50
but its skippy at times, i can run bf2 on high with no skipps or anything but not on source.

I think what is happening is that CSS is skipping frames to make the ping a bit better. I used to have this problem but now it's gone. Try lowering the graphics settings or changing the rates in the console. Or if that doesn't work, just try deleting the counter-strike source folder in your SteamApps/youremail directory.
