Out look won't allow me to specify another email address as the reply address. Under "User information" I fill in the address that I want people to reply to and outlook seems to just ignore this. I've looked at help files and the MS website and they all say that it shouldn't do this, but it does.

Any ideas?

You want to be hidden using alias?

Primary Email
Seconard Email for replys only

You can setup the Primary Email to only recieve the email (read only)
You can setup the Secondary to read and send the email. There is an option to do this under Options. But you need to setup up both accounts you want to use with passwords and etc.. Then test them out. You might have to manually tell Outlook to use the secondary account. But I've done what you are asking when I had an SBC account. It can be done..

I have a company address that forwards emails to my personal account. What I need is for the my sent mail to make it appear as if messages are being sent from that forwarding account.

It seems to be a gmail problem... When I use other email services it seems to work fine but when I use gmail it's all messed up.

I suggest using the "reply to: (insert correct address)" function.

Of course I would also use thunderbird which is a far better program and free.
