PC Games Keep Crashing

  1. Hi, I have rtecently installed Command & Conquer Tiberium Wars and Settlers 6. Both the games load up fine but as soon as I go into one of the tutorials/missions, the game crashes and shuts it self down with the general windows vista message saying something like 'A problem caused the problem to stop working'. Does anyone have any ideas why this is?

HI, First thing i would think is of is if i have any hotfixes, Display drivers or if my directX is fine. Your problem is related to that, so make sure u are fine in that area.

I have installed the latest graphics driver and when I load one of the games up now I get the following message 'At least 70mb of available video memory required, only 62mb detected'. I have a 256mb graphics card which meets the minimum requirements for the game.

What video card do you have? If you are using an AGP model of an ATI card the newest drivers are not compatible. Finally do you have the latest DirectX?
