Hey guys, I had a quick question. My buddy asked me to take a look at his computer because he has been having problems with it. I usually run Spy bot SD and Cc Cleaner. When those fail me I usually redirect to the 8 Steps. The main problem I am having is that nothing works. I cannot gain access to anything. When I downloaded spy bot and ran it, it appears as if a DOS screen opens and quickly closes. Same thing with CC and anything else I've tried. This includes on safe mode. When I tried to delete a bunch of "free game" programs from the add/delete program menu, it tells me the 'parameters are not accessible or incorrect'. I cant even play solitaire, which i tried just to see if ANYTHING opens. The only thing I can think of is wiping everything out, but the biggest problem is that he does not have the initial installation cd. Has anyone ever run into something like this? Any help would really be appreciated. Thanks.
