Hi guys!
So i want to play 1080p HD movies on my HDTV. I don't have a BluRay player nor are there HD channels in my country. So i have HD movies on my PC.
I'm guessing the solution is to connect my PC to the TV and play it.
But I don't understand how to connect it. I have a ATI HD4850 GPU with 2 DVI outputs. So as far as i know i should connect the TV and the PC with a DVI-to-HDMI cable. But there is another problem. I've read that that only transfers only the video signal(which is logical). So how do i "bring" the sound to the TV?
If this is not correct what should i do to connect it all.
Also would a 5 meter(16 feet) cable result in quality loss?
