Im considering of buying this because its on sale for $88.99, i know its mostly 149.99 on some stores. Im just wondering if its any good? Will i be able to play BF2 on a good quality settings with this? Currently I have a GeForce FX5200 (which is OK but dated), I'll be waiting for some comments before i buy this item.

So this 6600 is better than the 6200 even though the 6200 has bigger memory? Im a noob at this, sorry. When i compared both of the core clock, the 6200 had 350MHZ but the 6600 only had 300MHZ. I dont know the memory speed of the 6200. Thanks for the link and no i dont mind buying things online (its where i get most of my parts anyways :) )

Can you post a link of the card you are considering?

The reason I ask is because the 6200 comes in 64-bit and 128-bit. You definitely need to check for the 128-bit memory interface before purchasing. Another bad thing about the 6200 is that it only has 4 pixel pipelines. Attached is a link of a 6200 that is 256MB and only has 64-bit(the bad one)--

On the other hand..the 6600 mentioned has 8 pixel pipelines and 128-bit memory interface. I would not buy the 256MB version of the 6600. If I were you I would either buy the 128MB 6600 or the 128MB 6600GT. The 6600GT is a much better card but it is around $130. It all really depends on your budget.

If $88 is your budget go with the 6600 that Vnf4ultra posted.

If you can squeeze out a little more look for either eVGA or XFX 6600GT online.
