Problem with importing address list into Outlook express

I am trying to import address list from Netscape communicator to Outliook
express 6.0. The name of file in Netscape is abook.mab. When I click on
import addresses in Outlook express, it offers me option either from
Netscape v.2 and v3 or Communicator v.4. If I select Communicator, it
is trying to find a file with extension nab, which I do not have.

If try Netscape v.2 and v.3, it is looking for extension htm. Can any one
help me figure out how to solve this problem. Do you think that Microsoft
may have made a mistake and it should really be looking for a file with
extension mab?

In Netscape, select to EXPORT addresses in copy-separated-values (.csv)
In Outlook IMPORT in CSV format from that file.

Dear Real black stuff,

Many thanks for your suggestion. I had removed Netscape from my
computer, but I will go ahead and re-install it and then go thru the process
again.
