Problems with laptop

Hi all. Well I am having problems with turning on my Toshiba satellite c50-a-19t laptop. The night before there was a smell coming from the fan so I turned it off. I put it on charge in the morning and when it was fully charged I went to use it. The white light on the front goes on for a sec and then goes straight off and the laptop don't power up. Any ideas guys ???

Sounds as though it may have over heated and something may have shorted out. you will need to have it looked at your local repair shop.

Pull the battery out and see if it will power up using the AC adapter only
