What use is this button found on everyone's keyboard?

It is print screen. It basically takes a screenshot of your desktop.. Click on the link below for details on how to use it. Comes in handy alot of times...This and the other links I found refer to pasting to a document which is correct by all means. However, I use mspaint most of the time.
