RAM discrepency????

I have a AMD 1.6Ghz with 2x256 RAM.

How come in the bios it reports these settings as above, but when I view system information in XP it reports 795mhz and 384mb RAM.

I'm slightly confused about this

Integration!!!

Sounds like you've got an integrated video chipset. Basically Your you've got two things fighting for memory, the system and your integrated video chipset. With a seperate video card the card has the memory, that's why when you buy seperate video card in store it displays the built in memory. But in an integrated card (i.e. built in) the card has to share memory with the system. In your case you have a 128mb integrated graphics card.

but... for the diference of Mhz... i have no idea...
