  1. Say could someone please remind me the the command that resets all the windows registry settings back to the originals? I can't remember it and also do you run it from a cmd or run in xp?

    I think you're looking for a System Restore Point and you use the GUI.
    Look under Help.

    Also, you can use runas /user:administrator C:\WINDOWS\system32\Restore\rstrui.exe

    I thought there was a command that you can run from a CMD that just replaced the ocx/dll with the original ones. So that if you updated them with new software that your OS didn't like you could replace any snd all with one command. I have used it before but commands go out of mt head faster then the go in ;)
