Report: 19-year-old DOGE team member "Big Balls" provided network support to cybercrime gang

1st... as he should, and should have done in his first term. Politics 101. You are saying it, as if it would be some grand cospiracy :) When a new government gets into power, it's first move is to fire every loyalist from the institutions from the opposing side.

2nd: DOGE is getting rid of whole departments and programs, it is hard to replace employees, when the job position doesn't exit anymore.
Unless you have a dictatorship mentality like Trump, the very fundamentals of politics is NOT about eliminating the jobs of the opposite party but quite the contrary it's about reaching across the isle for a mutual solution which in most cases Democrat Presidents have done.

Just imagine if Biden or Obama would have acted with a Trump mentality and had appointed Ocasio-Cortez targeting firing every Republican and replacing them with all progressive millennials or imagine if those Presidents would had appointed Bernie Sanders as secretary of Health?...I'm sure you wouldn't agree about your own "politics 101" statement right and then.

If any democrat president would have done what Trump is doing Republicans in Congress would have sprint their way into the courts to sue and impeachment that president....and that's exactly what the Democrats are going to do to Trump the moment they take the House and Senate just because Trump couldn't just run the presidency with some common sense.

That's not even true for political appointees, which make up 0.23% of the federal workforce.
The overwhelming majority of public servants however is hired by public process, in accordance with hiring standards based on education and experience, which has no political component.

Maybe the workforce would look different if more right wingers showed up for these jobs, but then again educated right wingers are relatively scarce. And they tend to really, really dislike government salaries.

Departments and programs that Congress had already allocated funding for. This is executive overreach on a breathtaking scale.

Given that you seem to be concerned about the 4 trillion deficit - as well you should be - could you explain how Trump can justify pushing for an extension of the tax cuts act from his first term, where he oversaw the third largest deficit increase of any President in history?

These DOGE amateur hour audits are just a distraction. A drop in the bucket when it comes to the federal debt. Let's just stop pretending you are talking about something you have the slightest clue about, and re-examine your priorities.

Ironically, this still leaves Big Balls as one of the less criminal members of Trump's brownshirt brigades.

You’re confused. The brown shirts are the ones fireb0mbing Teslas and setting up websites to terror!ze Tesla owners. But something tells me Techspot has no interest in covering the story around that site.

“hiring standards based on education and experience, which has no political component” A: lol B: only one side cheers for DEI and then claims there’s no political component. You can’t make this up.

“then again educated right wingers are relatively scarce” A: you’re assuming that government jobs require education B: most college-aged kids keep their conservative or moderate ideologies to themselves as we’ve seen the all-too-common results of the ‘tolerant’ and ‘inclusive’ left. They’re wise to lay low.

“largest deficit” You mean the resultant economic devastation of COVID which you’re hallowed St. Fauci was directly responsible for? The catastrophe that the FBI, CIA and now German intelligence all agree came from that stupid lab? The epidemic that people exactly like you claimed came from people eating bats from a wet market (which somehow wasn’t rac!st but suggestions that it came from a coronavirus lab were)?
The debacle that made the true authoritarians force experimental vaccinations on swaths of the population under penalty of losing their jobs (how ironic) and then plead for ‘covid amnesty’ once it was all over? Two words for you… All caps.

If the DOGE audits are a ‘drop in the bucket’, then you’re suggesting more needs to be done. Noted. Couldn’t agree more. Those soon to be w/o jobs can just ‘learn to code’. Right, pal?

Just quoting so this trainwreck of free association is preserved in all its unedited glory.
