Resetting an iPhone 5

Bottom right corner of that screen it shows a camera icon & a vertical bar. Can someone give me an idea of what might happen if I touch either one? Could the camera icon be a simple short cut?

Touch & hold your finger over the camera icon & slide it up. Then you'll have access to the camera.

Ok, so it is a short cut, thank you. I usually just slide the "message" to the right & go to the camera icon that way but this is nice to know.

Help again please. When I tap my weather app, I get 3 cities, two are duplicates. How do I delete/remove one of them? I've googled & looked here & here & here

Should be able to slide the one you don't want to the left to reveal the Delete button. The location at the very top, think that's location (GPS) based, and can't be deleted. Probably can turn that off in Location Services, haven't tried that though.

What does the delete button look like? I should probably point out this iPhone has no phone service on it. I have a separate phone,not to mention using my computer (gmail). At home, I use the wifi here.

learninmypc, use the tip as suggested previously to take screenshots of your phone: press the Lock and Home button once (at the same time).

It is not letting me do a screenshot as mentioned before. I did do one earlier, but not of the weather.

Open Weather. Tap on the bottom-right corner, with the three dots and lines (looks like bullet points). Slide any cities you don't want left, tap delete (looks like post #55). Add any cities with the plus icon bottom-right.

I have some AC powered speakers like these
& I'm wondering if I can use them on the iPhone with out damaging the iPhone?

That's fine. You can't really damage the iPhone if using an output.

Here is an interesting question. I downloaded the www.kirotv.com app but when I use it to watch the live streamed newscast, I MUST use head phones to hear it. Yet when I go to same link in Safari & click on the live streaming banner

I simply click the arrow in the circle & it goes full screen & I can hear it.
Why ?? TIA

Yes, I can play a video from youtube with no problem.

As for the Live Cast, I didn't have any problem w/ sound.

Yes, I shut it off every night & re start it in the morning but no change.
