I want to hook up my PS2 to the internet but my routers upstairs and my PS2 is downstairs and I want to get linksys bridge but I have a Netgear Router. Will that effect anything?

Hi

Wont 40 feet of CAT5 cable be OK, after all your planning on linking a bridge via CAT5 to the router so why not just run a cable direct and save the cost, you could even stick a HUB on the end and then you can plug in other things.

Or am I off base a tad
