Run Windows From USB?

I am looking for a way to create a version of XP, Vista, 7 or 8 that can run from usb or cd/dvd, and can run the Hitman Pro virus scanner. I use the kaspersky linux usb creator utility to run their linux-based virus scanner from a usb drive, but I'm looking for a "second opinion", so I can provide customers with better service and come back with a rootkit that was missed. It seems that Hitman can

UBCD4win and Sysinternals both use BartPE but they are missing DLLs required by Hitman. Is there a way to run a full Windows from USB, not just a windows installer created from the windows dvd?

I would have thought an install under the typical creation of UBCD4win would have all necessary DLL's. Alternatively check HitmanPro.Kickstart which can run from USB http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/506638/creating-a-hitmanpro-kickstart-usb-drive/

I've heard of a way of running windows from a USB, no guarantees. https://www.techspot.com/community/...windows-on-an-external-usb-hard-drive.116114/
Does not end up bootable on any other PC. UBCD4win is the result of years of hard work. Nobody is going to easily find a short cut for that.
