Screen flickers

My screen flickers (not off and on) from bright - dark - so on... its like this every now and then or is it flickerin all the time e.g. fps. but its so slight its unnoticed and every now and then it 'freaks' out....

its about 2 years old BUT if it has to do with.. well under the screen is a chip of some sort its got white plastic label on it saying "don't touch" and every now and then it makes a high pitch squeek!! its been doing that for a year now... and the back light has been replaced 4 times GRRRR!!!...

the screen is at like a wide screen version of 1024x800 at 60 or was it 70 or was it 72 sorry can't remember...

did this start random or after a drop, did this ever happion before or jsut now

if its unnder wantee try to get it fixed for free

Drop!?? it had a nock a bout 18 months ago but it started about 11 months ago its under warranty and it has been fixed under warranty but is stupid i love this laptop though im going to get a desktop soon but its really annoying
