Setting up a Hyper-V VM internal switch adapter

Goodday,

Ive been trying to set up a few virtual machines.
-Domain controller
-Clients

But ive been stuck already on the first part where I have to assign a static IP Address to my virtual machines.
With vmware I can easily get a static ip and make it work.
With hyper-v it keeps saying that its unidentified network.

Can anyone please help me setup with the
-IP Address
-Subnet
-Gateway
-DNS

*the ip I get on my internal switch adapter 169.254.101.107 with a subnet of 255.255.0.0*
*Client 169.254.22.38*

It sounds like you have not connected your LAN virtual switch to the external network adapter. Should be under virtual switch manager->LAN virtual switch-> connection type-> Select adapter
