Ok so I got the elder scrolls IV oblivion the other day. I loaded it up on my desktop and it works great. Not problems what so ever. So i decide to load it on my laptop. It runs but not as smooth as i would like. So here is my dilema. I am thinking about upping either the RAM or the VideoCard. Im not sure which one will make the most difference in how smooth Oblivion runs on my laptop. I was looking at either getting 1 to 2 gigs of RAM or a Radeon mobility x700 256mb card. Any input you have on this would be great. Thanks. Oh and here is the specs of my laptop for reference.

Fujitsu Lifebook Nseries
ATI mobility Radeon 9700
2x 256mb RAM
P4 3.2 ghz processor
Windows xp home edition
(thoes are all the important ones i guess)

again thanks alot.

I have heard that there are some notebooks on the market that allow for the graphics card to be updated, but as far as I know, the fujitsu lifebook series is not one of them. One of the disadvantages of notebooks. Once that graphics card is put in the motherboard, it rarely comes out (unlike desktops).
