I thought it might be an idea to have a thread with links to solutions/guides to common issues, because as we all know, encourage as we may, there'll always be those who won't search because they either don't want to, or don't have time. Apart from which, if it's a common problem, it makes for easy access to a solution.
First of all, please consider whether the solution to your problem may be contained in one of the READ threads at the top of the screen, if not (though this is by no means an exhaustive list...
