I am unable to load a Magellan Direct route Europe CD ROM, which requires it to be loaded each time it is used to verify its not a copy. This loads ok on my other computer which has a CD ROM player. Can anybody help please ?

DVD rom have a security system that is based on different Regions of the world. This system is supposed to make more difficult to illegally copy copyright material.
If you right click your DVD and look at the Region setting , you can change the region to match your Disk.
However if you make this change 5 Times the Rom will stop working.
I am not sure if you could request a North american Disk from the manufacturer , but this is the only answer I can think of.
